The Mobile Embedded System research group at Yonsei Univesity has actively been participating in the research and development of wide range of embedded and wireless/mobile system software.

Concerning the embedded system research, we are particularly interested in the development of core techniques for target-specific power-aware embedded operating systems. Our particular interests in this area include PM (power mangement) techniques for handheld device based on the Linux kernel. DPM, DVS, power-aware LCD control, battery monitoring, power-aware WNIC control, appication monitoring are only part of the on-going research in our group. As for the reserach on wireless and mobile communication networks, we have particular interests in the area of system software support for ad hoc and sensor networks. This includes the development of protocols, middleware and operating system for power-aware ad hoc and sensor networks.
